Glancing Life through a State of Donkey

An Abandoned Donkey at Nepalgunj
- Krishna Kumar Yogi

Who knows the pain of a donkey abandoned?
Who cares how is donkey after
it is left aside by its master?
No master loves donkey
if it is no more active.

I saw donkeys abandoned a great many
at Nepalgunj
And questioned to me,
Are they only kept for money?

Looking at a particular, pathetic and painful donkey,
I realize:
Activity is honor,
Activity is life
Activity is power
Activity is pride
Activity is donkeyness.

Looking at a measurable and malice donkey,
I again realize another way round:

Passivity is dishonor
Passivity is death
Passivity is powerlessness
Passivity is pridelessness
Passivity is pleasurelessness,
And, ultimately donkeylessness.
